CMV: Men's sex dolls should not be taboo

Interesting topic but very divisive among today's English speaking audience, as all gender topics are today.

Personally, I have never seen a sex doll other than for gag props on shows. I did however went kinky shopping with my gf in Japan once, and saw how crazy some tools were.

My thoughts on it are as follows, men's sex drive as a primary reason why men typically take risks which lead to either death or discoveries/inventions/feats - which typically impresses others, generating social proof and women are drawn to men with high social standing. Overall, it aids the human progress, regardless of it biological/selfish nature.

Sex dolls are viewed negative partly because they dampen that drive. Also they are viewed for "losers" who aren't able to get laid.

I don't agree with either of those points, both are lazy stereotypes but I am stating certain underlying perspectives it carries. (at least on tv/film)

There is spectrum of female's perspectives ranging my gf jokingly quipping "my butt is enough" when I was poking at HUGE latex? butt with what I would assume was a fleshlight, to outright extreme "men are evil and sex dolls looks like humans so they is bad." women who have been hurt

They are seek some sense of control over their men(and his sex drive), which in the dance of relationships is pretty reciprocal. Just like how I sometimes ask her to dress down when meeting my guy friends because I really don't need unnecessary temptation with my mates.

Footnote, I believe "weird" is subjective. If I ignore social conditioning, and return to my scarred childhood memory of a lady putting a banana up her vagina in front of me. I recall finding that really "weird" and to an extend a dildo is that banana.
