I think it is, because it's people like in this video who advocate for laws like this. Basically, these are trauma victims with personal issues who really do require special handling, but are now projecting their own trauma onto all of us with these sorts policies and are expecting all of us to act in accordance to their trauma. How you can say that laws such as these are not dangerous is beyond me. That's smacks of the sort of "if you don't have anything to hide, you don't have anything to worry about" shoulder shrugging attitude for rationalizing NSA spying or, before that, military tribunals. Sorry, when it comes to legal issues such as this, saying it's "nothing to be scared of" comes across as a bit short sighted because you don't take into account the systemic changes. Even if present results haven't indicated convictions, the systemic change, the change in the legal plumbing, so to speak, that allows for abuse is worrying.
