CMV: Patriotism is pointless and potentially dangerous

Carthage attacked Rome, Rome made it so Carthage couldn't attack again.

By taking their entire non-Phoenician empire directly into Roman control.

Spain attacks Britian, Britian makes it so they can't do it again.

By 'releasing' some Spanish territory, only for it to inevitably return to Spain.

Even if the two situations weren't two thousand years apart, comparing them would still be retarded.

Claiming that Belgium broke free entirely on it's own is stupid, like saying America would have broke free without French aid.

I said of its own volition you moron, not entirely on its own. The point is it made a decision to be independent. Do you seriously not understand that difference?

All in all your examples of why this would work are just fucking laughable. Even if they were in the same context they wouldn't be comparable, let alone the fact we're talking about the twenty-first century.

No the reason is to provide addiquit reprisal to those who attack the British State and to send the message to the other nations who might be intrested not to do it.

First of all can you learn to spell correctly, this is painful to read.

Second of all any idiot could tell you that's not going to fly when it comes to overruling people's right to self-determination and arbitrarily splitting up a centuries-old country. You would make Britain a global pariah. Any attempt to enforce your retarded decision (because it would need to be incredibly strongly enforced) would immediately be blocked by the rest of the world.

Are you seriously so ignorant you don't understand that? Combine that with your spelling and you seriously come across as having the intellect of a child.
