CMV: Priority shouldn't be cancelling student debt but preventing it from accumulating for future generations

So you're advocating for rich people to remain RI h and for regular people to know their place and don't aim higher? What about that incredibly smart kid who could be the person to find a cure to cancer but can't because he didn't go to a top university?

I am from the UK and was born into a poor background and I went to one of the top universities in the country. Here the universities can't charge more than a certain amount per year. The government provides loans which are only repayable once you earn over a certain amount per year and it gets automatically taken from your wage every month (like an extra tax) I pay around 5% of my wages per month. I now work for a top engineering company but I never would have got here without the government support.
