CMV: Right-wingers should be throwing their support behind Colin Kaepernick

Is that what’s happening or are you just stuck in an echo chamber that focuses only on what you want to hear? You came to change my views but then started off with out right insults to the other side. That’s a pretty good indication you’ve got some heavy biases and most reasonable don’t want to debate when you start off that way. It says you don’t care.

Here’s the thing his protest is stupid for a lot of reasons, including that it’s hypocritical. He doesn’t actually care or at least not enough to make anything close to a sacrifice. He even went so far as to sign a contract with a company who based off the way he acts he should want nothing to do with. Now before you respond I’m not going into further detail because frankly it would be a waste of my time. I know exactly how the exchange is going to go. Your opening comments of tossing around insults made that clear. I did this much in the hope that it might do something. That the left keeps pushing him as some hero is what we find annoying and it then goes from we’ll ignore him to you want to make a thing out of this then let’s make a thing out of it. . He was protesting on company time and violating a contract he signed. The nfl signed a contract relating to the whole anthem thing. His player contract in some would’ve bound him to that. If you do things you aren’t supposed to during company time your company has every right to fire you or not rehire you. He complained that no one wanted him for blank reasons. The ultimate reason is that he was bad for business. The right wanted the private business to fire him. A company is subject to the whims of the people who give it money. They can freely choose to not spend that money and say they won’t because they don’t like blank. That’s capitalism.
