By "tell" you mean, "say" or "force"?

If you trying to convince them saying a lie that is life will get better and suffering will go away from life and they can live happily then its forced.

Typically, when people say "stopping people from suicide", we are not talking about chaining people to bed or what not.

But you are trying to manipulate them by rubbing your opinion on then saying suicide is a wrong decision as you said in your prev comment. The thing is who are we to judge its wrong or right for that person. All though you talk about stats saying all the one you didn't are happy (which is very tough for me to accept) did you consider what's with the ones who successfully ended the suffering?

The ones alive are going to suffer some way or the other due to old age or losing loved ones etc. I just hope they don't wish they should have ended it the last time they tried. I know it sounds nihilistic or what ever labels you wanna give but its difficult to comprehend the meaning of life and live without it.
