CMV: SJW ideology and cancel culture promote hypocrisy

If it seemed like I was begging the question, I apologize. That is perhaps because of the fact from what I've seen, most the time SJWs have been hypocritical and condescending in some way. In my mind almost makes it seem like an impossibility for them not to be that way based on what their ideology and approach seems to fundamentally be about.

My understanding of what makes someone and SJW is that they're a leftist who feels the need to actively oppose bigotry via, protests, movements, comments on social media, etc. But it seems like they're highly selective in who they oppose. Is it not possible for someone to be leftist and generally be in opposition to bigotry whilst having a past or even current tendency of saying something bigoted themselves? Our actions as humans don't always align with our general character or general values. We aren't one dimensional beings. So who's the most progressive?

You... just said they did. You know it is possible to tell when something is bigoted/prejudiced, right?

It's possible but not as easy as you may possibly think it is. Hence why even many of the people who spend a lot of time thinking about bigotry/prejudice cannot make proper distinctions of what is bigoted/prejudiced and why.
