CMV: The social justice takeover of academia is counterproductive to racial equality in America

If you're saying that there is absolutely zero research exploring possible genetic links between race and IQ, obviously you'd be wrong by virtue of your own references to and citations of a number of researchers from a minority presently exploring such a possibility.

If you're saying that there is a dearth of past research on the matter, you'd obviously be wrong again given the predominance of scientific racism throughout academic history up until quite recently.

So, if some research has been and is being done, might it be that whatever dearth you perceive is in fact the indicator of a road block to any further substantive study? The pseudoscientific nature of theories ranging from craniology to The Bell Curve has been demonstrated time and time again.

Not to mention that the very category of race is inherently muddled (see Templeton); nor does the category of culture have the sharpest the boundaries (see the humanities itself).

As others have said, this isn't about appeals to authority but rather appeals process. If you believe the institutions of academia have been corrupted, fine. But you still haven't shown how and where the process of science has gone wrong.
