Be careful with that one. I would have thought so too, but the mods dinged me for delta abuse because a commenter showed me that one of the qualifiers I included in my view was based on an oversight on my part. It was a very thoughtful comment and introduced an angle that I hadn't thought of, and it enriched my understanding of the issue.

Anyway, after a discussion with one of the mods, they basically said that no, nuanced, complex views are not a good fit for CMV - that's CMV is best for high school-level hot takes that can be shot down with a simple counter example. I'm paraphrasing, but not much - that was the gist of it.

Stuff like that is why I lurk here but don't invest much effort these days.
