CMV: There’s no such thing as “cancel culture”, it’s called being held accountable for your actions and there’s nothing wrong with it

I mean compared to what she had that’s screwing her life up for something minor she did at 15. Something that’s not even illegal all because a bunch of jealous losers chose to act maliciously. And yes that’s everyone who does that or approves of it is because decent respectable people don’t do that or take any joy in it.

People can think what they will about certain things being illegal but smoking weed when it’s illegal is knowingly breaking the law. That’s a far cry from getting upset about words being said that aren’t illegal. A 15 year isn’t going to know some losers are going to hold something minor against them 3 years later.
