Well that kinda answers my question. I have my own opinions on the fake woke liberal culture that seems to be very predominant in California, and it doesn't surprise me that you've seen so called liberals excusing this behaviour. But my basic point is, it clearly is possible to create a culture where opinions like that are not coddled, so instead of submitting to those views and accommodating them we should push for change. If you don't see people calling them out, you be the change. I know Canada as a whole is much more progressive than the states (hell even our Conservative party would probably be labeled communists based on your guys political climate), but I go to a relatively conservative school, and even here saying stuff like that will face backlash.
