CMV: Twitter losing its advertisers is more Musk's own fault than it is "Activists"

But this isn't "censorship". It's advertising companies deciding where and who they do business with.

The only thing I would say to you here is that this entire new shift in advertisers away from relatively unmoderated content is the direct fault of activists. Specifically the Twitter activists who made a big deal about Coca-Cola showing an ad of alt-right videos on YouTube in like 2016. Before this, ads were shown on YouTube videos regardless of topic or content. Someone shared a screenshot of a Coke ad on either an alt-right vid or a Nazi video, caught Coke's attention, and it caused a mass panic among advertisers.

Now YouTube is a censored minefield of people being scared to cover certain hot topics because they don't want to be demonitized. And this is directly the fault of activists looking for outrage.

The entire internet is now being sterilized in order to appeal to advertisers. It is genuinely a new age of puritanism in the name of selling products. It's pretty disgusting.
