CMV: 'undocumented immigrant' is a nonsense term from the left and anyone entering the country illegally (without granted asylum) should be deported

You should actually read what I wrote.

What you’ve described is true for almost every government policy.

I didn't make any position statements. I literally just offered a moral consideration.

That doesn’t mean the government just gives health care to people a couple countries over.

Cool, that's not what I said at all.

Prioritizing citizens interests over those of non citizens is unequivocally a part of governing.

Also said nothing related to this at all.

Should we value those closest to us more than those farther away, and if so, where do we draw the line? Some people draw the line at a different place than OP. That's what I was saying. I made no statements about how feel personally on the issue.

It's absolutely fine to have a government that emphasizes it's own citizens, while still promoting immigration. Considering immigration is generally a good thing anyways, bringing in more could be seen as a direct action the government is taking to better the lives of it's current citizens. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
