CMV: The usage of the term "LatinX" is culturally imperialist and likely racist.

  3. ⁠Sure, the term originated in PR, which is under US occupation, but is very Latin culturally. Other countries have high levels of ‘e’ ending usage, a more natural shift.
  4. ⁠There’s room for a debate that doesn’t happen exclusively in the English language and allows the individuals expected to follow the rules (Latin people) to participate in their native tongue.

Also, you clearly missed the intention of my comment: to imply forcefully that this debate, in its current setting and context, fails to even attempt to take the desires of the Latin people into consideration. This behaviour makes sense when you consider that most of these participants have not been raised in a society that respects the rights of Latin people.
