CMV: White privilege is Actually Wealth Privilege

The black population in the USA is primarily in urban centers and by total population have a larger percent living in cities

This is by (systemically racist) design. Here's a source for the general history, but essentially Black people were segregated to specific communities that were (and generally continue to be) under-served. The practice of redlining dictated where white people could live, but Black people (and people of color) couldn't live on certain sides of these red lines. The Fair Housing Act is only fifty years old. These communities can't undo the damage that quickly, and we're not helping them do it to any great extent, either.

Specifically more poor black people live in cities Cities have higher population densities, which require more police to protect. More police means more police to civilian interactions

The Brookings Institute reports that from 2010-2014, the largest percentage of Black people lived in suburbs. Here's a PDF link and a link to the article in The Atlantic. While this article is critical of Trump specifically, the trends in where Black people live are accurate and show that a lot has changed in the past 30 years even.

More police means more police to civilian interactions.

A lot of these cities adopted a "broken windows" policy of policing back in the 80s-90s that targeted people who committed low-level crimes (like loitering and vagrancy) to try to keep neighborhoods more in order. Spoiler alert, it didn't work and the people who were most often targeted as offenders were people of color in neighborhoods of color that they lived in because their parents and grandparents were redlined into living there.
