CMV: Women in the West have it far easier than men, especially the demographics who espouse the most about 'oppression'.

Oh good, a feminist again.

Unless you want to obtain wealth and power. They're the minorities in top business positions and political positions.

Most people don't have excessive amounts of wealth and power. So that point is moot. What most people do have are certain privileges and advantages. Women have more.

A) you're underestimating the work that models do, and B), male models exist. One doesn't have to be a 'model' to profit from being a fairly attractive female. Even average to below average women can net serious pay just by covering their flaws with makeup and going online for a few hours. And the threshold for what makes a man attractive is FAR HIGHER than those that make a women attractive.

Everyone will take their side? Really? Were you paying attention to all the people calling Brett Kavanaugh's accuser a liar who is only doing it for the political attention, or the people that call anyone who says a celebrity rapes them as a whore? And I think you have a very different definition of 'ruin their lives' than I do.

I paid attention during the entire #MeToo movement nonsense, that ruined many men's careers by sheer heresy. Aziz Ansari for one. That was the case that made me disregard anything about accusations against men entirely.

Or maybe it means that we should actually investigate rape claims instead of just writing them off as a lose cause and browbeating women into claiming they were lying.

Rape cases are already investigated, and when they aren't it's because of the lack of evidence. The feminist solution is just declaring for everyone to think an accused man is guilty.
