CNN anchor Chris Cuomo diagnosed with coronavirus

Last week a couple of papers came out showing that the transmission rate was really high, so there's likely more people infected that we just don't know about - which is a good thing, because it will drive the mortality rate down. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(20)30144-4/fulltext

This also means we are at least two-three months into the epidemic here. The first case in the US was identified in January, and considering about 80% of cases show mild symptoms and as much as 25% show no symptoms at all (depends on who you ask and how up to date the research is) it has likely already spread everywhere... which explains why so many tests are coming up positive now. New Orleans has the fastest growing number of cases, they had Mardi Gras a month ago. Y'all were hitting the voting booths a month ago in California, right? So - using the same modeling - it most likely is already everywhere. There is a good chance we're locking everything down for nothing. We should be testing for coronvirus antibody titers, not a known-to-be-highly-flawed 37 cycle rt-PCR method to base our current panic-driven reaction upon.
