CNN News Crew of Omar Jimenez and 4-member crew Arrested on Live TV

It's more to do with things being so instantly politicized, I expected more people to not see past that and go into a knee jerk reaction of old habits. I have seen that in the past multiple times. Some people never get past it. Then they get mad at you if you don't have a knee jerk reaction.

Probably it being so blatantly on camera was a big factor.

They hate property being destroyed and burned down because it's a waste of money especially at a time like this when most people are struggling to make ends meet.

I actually agree with them on that in general, I was responding to what I figured the guy I was talking to had seen on the subreddit. A lot of memes about the buildings burning, some of them kind of gross in their depictions.

Do you really think regular everyday people would cheer and celebrate the death of another human just because they have a different opinions about how some thing's should work?

Well, the context is reddit (which is to say, NOT regular everyday people), and there were multiple people calling for mass murder of police and the razing of Minneapolis on the PublicFreakout threads about this video. So yes, some people cheering for deaths is expected to some extent.
