So many comments on this thread and even OPs example was people needing to know about others bad habits. That’s the “test” (vs love/next step) mentality that is more likely to fail. If they leave dishes on the counter next to sink and don’t put them IN the sink? When the lease is over so is the relationship. It’s a case of conflicting personal habits never to be resolved.

We all can change our personal quirks and habits. Too bad so many people don’t bother working out the big issues of compatibility like kids/morals/finances and then just treat the rest as fixable.
