Coach Bowden once said, "You’re going to have four phases [of rebuilding] whether you like it not. You’re probably going to lose big, then lose close, then win close, and then win big." Where are the Bears in that process in 2017?

The browns players on IR that are impact starters are as followed Joel bitonio their starting guard and starting DT Desmond Bryant ... not a great comparison. For comparison here's a recent post on how we match up with the rest of the leagues injury report no team even came close to losing as many starters. This was also Cutler's 2nd worse game of the season another reason he chose retirement or in many cases was forced into it.. and injuries to our secondary and o line were to blame. Long, sitton, calahan, porter, Goldman, and hall all injured and out that game. To put it in perspective porter, Callahan, and sitton all played against min. Not to mention the bucs were in a must win situation to keep playoff hopes alive, us on the other hand pretty much knew our season was over. Let's not forget that Evans and Winston were returning from a knee injury and a concussion that week. It was just a terrible game against one of the up and comers in the league your making this a different argument. So a completely healthy roster wins us 2 additional games out of the 7 losses we had decided by 7 or fewer points? I'm not buying it. You can be a bears pessimist all you want bears bro I'm looking at the bright, side.
