Coast Range vs Summit

I’ve planted 8 years but started at summit. I had a reasonably positive experience. Was your first season in Ontario? Summit is a great place to work if you’re transitioning to BC.

Some pluses: -Big contracts, lots of trees -Great camp culture, make good buds -If you are able to put in lots of trees, crewboss will set you up because it’s a % commission for them unlike some smaller companies -crazy parties

Some cons: -very inexperienced planters and crew bosses. -lower costs. Summit used to be known for low prices, and they’re still not great but 13-17 is my understanding which seems comparable to any other rookie mill company. Alberta work was always lucrative. -lots of camp takedowns -crazy parties

If I were you and had offers at both places, id go for Coast Range. Higher prices, bit more experience.
