You are literally as bad as the actual NIMBYs. Exact same black or white thinking. 'More affordable housing' isn't the same as 'super high density.' Things like increasing use of in-law units, and changing zoning requirements and appropriate infill don't require us to turn into Hong Kong or to drastically change neighborhood character. New denser developments can be spread around cities to reduce impacts on particular areas. But anyone who cares about neighborhood character and the actual impact on the town is a rich asshole from Marin, right? And of course we couldn't actually listen to communities about what they want because fuck them, right?
