Cocoa Police Officer opens fire on Brevard Deputies during 4 hour standoff in Viera Subdivision (Video)

I can't help but compare to that story about the football game in Pennsylvania. Two teens got in an argument, someone fired a gun, nobody hurt. Some police who weren't near them heard the gunshots, decided it was coming from a nearby car (it wasn't) that had an innocent family in it, and began firing at the car, injuring four and killing a young girl.

The DA initially charged the teens with murder and the police were untouched. Fortunately the community outrage forced him to reverse that, and after several months of continued efforts forced him to charge the officers with involuntary manslaughter and some reckless endangerment (lighter than what the DA originally tried charged the teens with).
