It is so cold here in Chicago, they literally have to set the train tracks on fire in order to keep the trains running.

Im not trying to argue with you I respect your points. but I've seen this particular opinion get people killed, and ruin countless innocent lives.

  1. I don't agree that homeless individuals should have to be "willing to die" in order to survive.

I mean it as you don't go making yourself a target and are willing to take it as far you have to to survive.

Cold Homelessness is survival by any means. I'd say Other homeless people are your biggest threat.

Think how desperate you'd be after 3-5 days not eating and your Cold. Your mind knows it's starving so suddenly your morality weavers and suddenly your picking up the half Ate 711 hotdogs out of the trash.

Here in Canada, pretty much every from of self defense is a crime. Other then shining a strobe flashlight in their face. For example Someone breaking into your home, rapes your dog. Then trips on his way out and Kills himself on the corner of your table, That's almost a guarantee Manslaughter charge on the person who lives there.

Cops are almost never going to be there in the 30 seconds it takes to be robbed, or the 2 seconds it takes to be stabbed or shot. Let alone help you without back up. Even though it's ther job.

Self defense is a basic human right just as much as food, water, warmth, and shelter

When youre a victim of a violent situation. It's truly terrifying. You don't really have time to think things through and it doesn't completely register how dangerous it is.

it's fight back, Mame/disorient and run, Or take it and deal with the physical/psychological problems and distrust of the world that comes down the line. You can't hold onto hope that a police officer will save you. Because chances are it's already too late.

Sorry for
