The cold side of the Toronto Christmas Market

This article is a joke, it's a outside market in the winter....what do you expect?

To be honest, I don't understand the appeal, it's so expensive and crowded, it's hard to even see the booths and food options. I wouldn't want to drag kids through there in the cold.

MY RANT AS A RESIDENT OF THE DISTILLERY My condo is in the Distillery and hate the month the Christmas Market is on. The security is a mess, we have issues getting our car in and out of the parking garage as the security they hire think they are cops and are really aggressive. Even with the given parking passes we get for this, we still have problems 9/10 times.

They also don't handle lines very well, many times (especially peak periods) it runs in front of condo entrances and the people in line don't want to move to allow you access. they think you're trying to bud in line.

We are given free passes to check out the market every year and like others have stated, it's a bit of a waste of time and money as it's the same vendors and same over priced crap every year.
