Collapse Addiction

Felt that, OP. This place is truly addictive. I've spent the better part of several years looking to disprove some motivational poster quote I saw in middle school health that keeps presenting itself over and over again every time there's discussion of suicide "Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem"

This sub is one of my favorite things ever. I hate making major short term sacrifices in service of a future I don't believe in. The objective deterioration of society is incredibly discouraging, and for me, comforting.

My best method for escaping this horrifying pattern of thought is to distract myself with the things I value. I enjoy listening to music. I enjoy spending time with friends. I enjoy cooking. I enjoy making music. I enjoy reading r/collapse .... Wait. NVM. Distract yourself. Do it.
