I may know a billionaire. And from what I may know, you're thinking about it too hard.

They don't go to work. They don't think about work. If they do, it's for a more or less fake quarterly meeting (1 meeting, pick a quarter). The have people that take care of all that to maximize profits.

The children can take out of the family money pool but they have to put it back with interest. But that's a lot of work, so they probably just choose to follow the family business (even knowing it's shitty) and show for a couple meetings.

Even if they have a large corporation that poisons the earth, they probably spend more time at their private equity firm looking to venture capital cool boy toy companies to get away from the wives.

It may "cost" me 10gs to spend a casual night out with this type of person (I don't pay it obviously).
