Dude, go to the Math subreddit. They all think they could be CompScis within 5 minutes of side work while looking for a job (and then wonder why they need to do Quant exams because they can only find teacher jobs otherwise since they were too busy doing useless pure classes and never bothered with learning to program or other applied stuff).
I do more Math than the average CS student, proof heavy classes. That shit isn't harder, on the contrary, I've never had a harder course than advanced operating systems. Dealing with scheduling, concurrency and memory management implemting OS stuff in C is the most brutal, hardest, time consuming thing I've ever done.
