That is a great situation you’re in. If you have that much extra cash I personally would recommend you buying one due to the sheer convenience it offers. I spent maybe $3000 on my baby and I absolutely love her. That includes the tax, tags, title and other bureaucratic bs involved. It’s a nice car with relatively high miles but it drives well. Since you’re still in college like I am I would suggest getting a cheaper used car that’s good on gas mileage and has low miles. This should be relatively easy for you since you seem to have a higher budget than most. Personally I wouldn’t spend more than 10-15k on it but for that price range you should be able to find something that would last you for many years and would be worth the investment in the long run.
