College student trying to start a WFPB diet

Starches are cheap, filling, and satisfying so i would start there. Look for low fat recipes around rice (preferably brown), potatoes, whole grain bread, pasta, beans, corn, etc. Then you can add other vegetables and fruits.

I believe simplification is the key to success. Find like 5-10 dishes that you like and just eat them over and over again so you dont really have to think about it. Some try to avoid salt and sugar but i dont. I noticed when i was on a low salt diet i would have intense cravings for fries and chips. Once i started salting my healthier foods, like mashed potatoes, the cravings went away. It also makes the food 100x more enjoyable so you eat more of the good stuff.

Find food that you personally enjoy and its a breeze. You dont have to eat what everyone else is eating. For example a lot of people eat oatmeal but i find it bland and gross even with some brown sugar on it.
