Systemic racism was real

The laws and practices which it was comprised of largely don’t exist anymore.

That’s not to say the current generation wasn’t affected by it - they most assuredly were. They inherited bad conditions from previous decades of redlining and no house equity and etc etc, as well as the cultural things like if you grow up in an area with more crime.

But if you look at it from a forward-looking perspective, let’s say there’s a white guy graduatijg a good college, good GPA, skills etc, in something like computer science. Now imagine the same exact person, same position, but their skin is black. How does that affect their future?
