Comic books are books

I think you are the same user I just sent a list of mangaka too on another comment. However to narrow it down (and forgive me if i don't remember what you mentioned), Vinland Saga, Otoyomegatari, Planetes, Holyland, Urasawa (but you mentioned him), Nausicaa in the Valley of the Wind, Akira (just started rereading it after not getting into it the first time and really enjoying it), Lone Wolf and Cub, Historie, and REAL. That is what just popped into my mind. I don't really have a top 10 in mind but those are several I really enjoyed. Homonculus is something I just got into. Maturity warning for it. I just got to a rather odd spot and I'm not sure where it is going to go as far as maturity content. It isn't hentai by any means but it is... i'll just say mature again. The ideas and themes are very unique. I'm not sure if I will finish it but it is the closest thing to an art film I have found in manga. Extremely unique both artistically, thematically, and content wise. However, very disturbing and dark.
