I feel as though saying that mh has had 13 years to refine its everything and that dauntless should be given heaps of leeway for that is almost minimising every complaint made about the game (it happens often). I say this because look at other games in the same genre 2 examples being freedom wars and soul sacrifice are they good games yes, are they great monster Hunter clones no.

They are good because they're mechanics separate themselves from Mon hun and if I had never heard of Mon hun they'd still be given the time of day.

I feel dauntless has only been given the time of day by a lot of people myself included was the hype that was built around it being like monster Hunter.

Also mh has almost always able to be soloed I solid my way up to almost end of g rank solo in monster Hunter Freedom unite, think I got stuck at yama tsukumi, but my mate did the entire game solo, so saying mh isn't soli viable is sorta wrong can't say anything about 4u since not even up to hr yet.

Back to the mh has had lots of time to refine itself, that is so true and so other imitators have tried to copy it without realising what made it good, but what dauntless didn't do it seems is look at while they've failed, mh has had 13 years to practice while dauntless has had x amount of years to study the genre, key word study.

So yeah, will this game be as good as mh anytime soon? No.

Can it be good? Yes

Does it have a hell of a long way to go? Yes.

Also in regards to op lagging same thing happens to me so often that it shouldn't be server related, I'm in nz playing on the aus server and I'm hit so many times before animations, that and animations hit you for so much without feeling it'd do anywhere near as much and they're just janky as all hell.

(just sick of people giving dauntless a pass in comparisons to mh because its had longer time to work with, dauntless has had time to study that and dauntless feels worse then freedom... Which is the 2nd game in the franchise which is a port from the ps2 game)
