Comm-Link Schedule for the week of June 15th

Since there's enough vitriol for me to inject my own, here goes!

To CIG: You guys hyped too much. You came out with a schedule that you touted all over the place with the different module release dates for this year.

We haven't gotten even 1 of those released! And to throw mud on the dirty, every time you release any announcement of a release, it's 95 percent of the time, incorrect.

But yet you continue with the hype! If people want to defend delays, that's fine, but you can't defend someone saying,"This is coming out sooner than you expect" and then 3 months later, still only give updates on the updates of the updates about the modules.

We are your shareholders, you are, and have said you are, beholden to us. You use to give us good information, now what amounts to lip service is all we get.

"We're super hard at work." We just got a new staff member! " You're going to love this door!" You will be super happy when you see what we're doing!"

This is all political double-talk being fed to the community to give us the feeling that we are in the loop, while in reality, we have no idea what's happening.

You've been "re-working" ships over and over again, where is our game? If you plan on releasing this year, you should be getting close to an alpha playable version right? Since you only have 5 months left to get us this game..

But I imagine you're not even close to an alpha for Sq. 42. BE HONEST! How delayed is this? What are the major hold ups? What is your development staff working on, right now, and how long have they been working on it?

These are questions real board members/stock holders would be asking.

Stop treating us like your cash cow suckers calling us "valued customers" at the same time. Sure we like the distractions you've given us, a mini-game here or there, more interviews with more people in your videos, but you're asking questions like," What's your favorite game?" Does not inform us about the development process other than unimportant niche information.

The distractions should stop for focusing on the actual game, if you can't get it figured out, fire the guy making your flash games and hire someone that can code.
