4) Maintaining ethical standards in academic and marketing research: it is the researchers responsibility to include consent forms that inform the participants about the the following (but not limited to): the institution conducting the research, contact information of the researchers, a statement that their institution's ethical committee has approved the study, information about the what the study involves and whether or not it includes risk, anonymity of the the participants and their responses. It is also recommended that the studies include a debrief at the end discussing the research hypothesis.
