I can't agree with that. Because that line of thought is being used to opress, kill, and convert gay people around the world, that line of thought should not be validated in any way shape or form without 100% proof that there is truth to it. There is no benefit to giving credence to that idea. It only emboldens homophobes to continue doing what they're doing. I will refuse to belive it has any merit until someone can prove with 100% certainty that its accurate.

That doesn’t mean that theories of human behavior and sexuality that they have coopted should be condemned.

They aren't theories theyve adopted. They're theories they invented to justify their actions
