I definitely agree. Shane’s fragility seems to become more and more apparent as his popularity rises. How many people have the luxury of taking a year to do their work and then getting it done inconsistently because of constant stress? The guy literally comes off as a wreck more with each series. The constant anxiety, the “OMG”’s it frankly has become annoying and sad to watch. It’s like if this job is so hard and stressful maybe he should rethink what he’s doing and get some real help.

Also I’m sorry, but the whole low self esteem act to come off as relatable is played out. At the beginning of the series he was “worried people wouldn’t buy the palette”? He consistently uploads videos with over 20M views, collaborates with one of the biggest makeup gurus on YouTube, hypes up this series for a year and thinks no one will buy the collection? Just stop dude, it’s almost aggravating how much he expects people to pity him. I’m sad because I really used to love watching Shane, but this series and just how he’s handled everything related to it just makes me lose a lot of respect for him.
