This comment Willam made about Mathu is not getting the full attention it deserves

Rupaul was not in drag makeup for the episode submitted, and i really doubt the production of the show or the Emmys team nominated the show based on his Pee-wee Herman fantasy. Moreover, if Willam wants to take Raven's word for what happened that day (as in, admitting she wasn't there), then Mathu wasn't working either, according to her.

Overall, there are two big misrepresentations here. 1) The producers submitted an episode without Ru in drrag. 2) Any single person or team nominated for makeup in a show in which every contestant deserves to be recognized for their makeup artistry is more than anything a symbol to a greater work in which they didn't take part.

I don't think Willam can acheive more than damaging the show's public image, which may dissuade the Emmy voters. He probably won't be able to include Mathu's name in the credits for this episode or for the previous seasons. Because for an Emmy nomination it doesn't matter that Mathu helped create Rupaul's image and build the show as much as actually working day-to-day on the set. But if we're talking in the long run, the show's only getting more popular, and Raven's work isn't getting any worse...
