I don't think Aus Survivor 2002 is as bad as other people think. It gets a bad wrap (and for some of it's massive flaws (some really bad challenges, not the best casting) it deserves it) but those last few episodes (F7 onwards following the Pagonging of the Kadina) are good (good not great) episodes of Survivor as the Tipara tribe had to turn on their own. I would rather rewatch Aus Survivor 2002 over some of the worst seasons of US Survivor (RI, South Pacific, One World) just because you know that you have a reasonabily exciting end game play out (which is what the seasons above lacked).

Also, Rob Dickson (the guy who won that season) is a reasonabily good winner. Based off his run on Aus Survivor, he is deffinatily in the top 10 of Survivor winners. On the surface, you would think that he would be a boring player like a Lee (Aus Survivor 2016) because of their shared background (both reasonabily successful sports players) but while Lee was a boring game player, Rob D played rings around his rivals. It is a shame that we will never see him play the Survivor again (as he sadily died a few years ago) but i would have been interested to see him play again.
