In my experience, it's incredibly difficult for an INFP to find a meaningful romantic relationship. Take my latest romantic effort as an example. I met someone at my job who was incredibly similar to myself and we had a ton in common. I had daydreamed about us being in a romantic relationship more in the first two weeks I knew her than most would in a lifetime. By the time we actually got to a point where I felt comfortable pursuing a real romantic relationship with her, it was very exhausting. I am not very social, so even communicating with her regularly was tough. Also, I had daydreamed about her to the point where I had a hard time remembering which personality traits were hers and which I had completely fabricated. The relationship faded very quickly and it was mainly my fault. I was just tired and over it. She's still really cool and I do still think about her, but it clearly wouldn't work.
