But the faith leads them astray in such silly, but harmful ways. It's beyond silly in 2021 to quibble with people's sexual identities and actions in terms of the dynamic/fluid spectrum of human sexual and gender orientations. And yet, there are still a lot of people, including religious leaders, who insist that people are only allowed to be/express in certain very specific and incredibly archaic ways in terms of sexuality and gender. And only reason for this is their "faith" and belief even though we have so much research AND anecdotal stories of the lived experience of humans who don't fit cookie cutter mold that such religious people and religious leaders are trying to enforce/coerce people to be.
