yep.

i'm currently tethering from my phone because i have 100% unlimited LTE($55 a month) its good enough for 1080p netflix and my school needs.

if I wanted cable internet id have to choose between $55 a month for a 300gb cap, which is pointless because even watching 1080p streams, 300gb is ate up in 2 weeks.

I would, however, be able to watch various 4k streams, but 300gb is complete shit. in case you didn't know, a true 4k stream(not many exist) use 20gb an hour... netflix is still 7-8gb an hour for 4k. a 4k bluray movie is 100gb for reference!, and a 1080p bluray movie is 30gb for a 2 hour movie!

so i'd have to go up to the next package, at $85 a month for a 500gb cap, and that's still too low and way too expensive.

because of that, I don't even have an ISP. :\ no point in spending $85 a month just to have something slightly better than my phone.

i honestly believe that a 30-40mbit download speed with no data cap for $30-40 a month is a 100% realistic expectation, but not ever going to happen in the US.
