This community is toxic af and the best argument for devs who doesnt want to listen the playerbase:

man it is really easy to win arguments when you oversimplify the opponent's arguments into silly strawmen.

Let's take borrowed power for example...you do know that the game existed for 10+ years without needing it, right? We would have had ability bloat by then, but the devs at the time reworked the specs to get rid of the crappy abilities when adding new ones. Ability bloat can be managed without borrowed power. Quite easily, as long as you are willing to change the classes a bit each expansion to keep them fresh. Like they did. For more than a decade. Or how FF14 still does.

There are many solutions to the problem that don't result in systems that we rent for 2 years and then give back part and parcel....systems that don't have anything to do with my actual class or spec....systems that are so convoluted that I can't bring myself to give a single actual shit about them.

Don't strip out the arguments of others just to make yourself feel better. and don't use the arguments of the worst representatives either, that is functionally the same thing. If you want to engage in a debate, do so honestly...because this ain't it chief.
