I commute. I kinda wish I chose to dorm solely because I’m introverted when I first meet people so it’s so much harder to make friends. It also can get really lonely. The only reason I continue to do it is for financial reason and because I’m taking on a ton of loans already. If you decide to dorm this semester, become an RA!!! my sister did. It fully covered her room + meal plan. If you don’t get it this semester, try again next semester. In all honesty, I really just wish I did that. Do what you think will be best for you, whether it’s commuting or dorming. It’s a tough decision, but whatever you do decide you can always change your mind and switch next year.
