I think one of the big differences is with Family Guy you consent to seeing that content, you know that when you watch Family Guy that's the sort of content you'll see and you can turn it off at anytime. It comes with an adult content rating and warning (at least in my country).

With the TP situation people didn't get to consent to seeing the content (that has been confirmed to be of sexual nature to the creator) because nobody knew about it being of sexual nature, that wasn't the type of content that the TP channel was set up for nor did the video/s have an NSFW warning on them.

The biggest difference between them from what I understand of the situation is not the content itself but the lack of consent in the TP situation to what has been confirmed as sexual in nature.

I've seen responses of OP argueing that what if Family Guy is sexual in nature to the creator or a certain group of people watching it? Then I suspect if that was confirmed people would have the same response as they have to this. It would be pulled off air, an investigation may or may not be done, the reputation of the company who created it and the company that aired it would be down the drain and there would likely be a huge scandal with press coverage on the issue.
