Competition Bureau Survey about the competitive landscape of Internet in Canada

Ha. We are slightly rural (about 10 mins outside perimeter). We have DSL or cellular or satellite as our net options. The costs are insane for slow, spotty net service (max 10mbs down but really more like 1-2 with a 100 gb monthly data cap at $100 per month.) We actually got our RM to do a feasibility study on community owned fiber. Unfortunately the latest election saw our young progressive Councillor defeated so I think that dream is dead in the water...

It really is an age divide. Until young people realize that they have power to make change, or can actually make up their own minds and not just regurgitate the blue BS their dads spew, we are stuck with being treated like ignorant peasants by our 'betters'.
