Compiled a list of things I find are contradictory or bigoted in the Bible, should I show it to my priest?

If you are looking for a satisfactory answer then you won’t get any, period. What is satisfactory in the eyes of a priest will not be satisfactory in your eyes. From his point of view his responses are 100x stronger because he is backing them up by faith.

If you are for some reason hoping to convert the priest, then you definitely won’t. The man has read the bible many times and might even have read some biblical history and is content with what he knows. Some inconsistencies and contradictions here and there won’t phase him whatsoever. He is probably familiar with every argument you are going to use and has learned to reconcile it with his faith. Don’t waste your breath and only read for you and not for anyone else.

If you have genuine questions though, then go ask him and see what his point of view is and see if it satisfies you.
