Is computer science just another science such as physics, chemistry or biology?

Generally I think the answer is no, but also maybe sometimes.

Most computer science is people learning to code and then using it to build websites, applications, mobile apps, or games. This is almost always seen as an engineering job. Although it's pretty interesting because engineers in most other fields work on design, while software engineers are usually doing the design and the work.

Artificial Intelligence or machine learning, while still being a branch of computer science, has a lot of research programs that produce scientific papers with new discoveries and data. There are probably a lot more examples of this in other computer science specializations.
