Is conceding a generational/age thing?

You really don't consider making/expecting (depending on whether or not a surrender/concede option is available in the game) the loser have to slog through who knows how many minutes of misery completely unnecessarily just so you can farm kills/points/feel good about yourself is in any way at all bad mannered or disrespectful?

Unnecessarily delaying the game just to BM or farm or whatever else considered disrespectful in pretty much every single video game there is.

Wikipedia article with the example of Star Craft 2: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaming_etiquette#Variations_between_games

"However, in other games such as Starcraft II, the opposite is true: it's considered bad manners to stay in a game after a clear victor has been decided because the victory requirement to destroy all of an opponent's forces is seen as a waste of the player's time. However, in games where leaving early is encouraged, the player is often still expected to say 'gg' or 'good game' before leaving; failure to do so can be considered bad manners."

Like I said, the same is true for League, Dota, Battlefield, Call of Duty, CSGO etc - except in many of those games there is no concede/surrender option, so if one team decides to be assholes and delay as long as possible to farm kills (or, again, just for the sake of being bad mannered) they can't even do anything about it.
