Concept idea

I disagree, the game is plenty easy to get into, but after some time playing there's not much you can learn in terms of new mechanics, but just practicing the few mechanics there already are. With a new feature like this it'll raise the skill ceiling, but new players will still have an easy time getting used to the field, since at it's core it's a very simple game to get into. Just look at Rocket League, it has a lot of straight foward mechanics that are easy to learn but close to impossible to master. Which keeps the players engaged at all times, since feeling a sense of constant upward progress, but also never feeling stuck at any times, is the key to a fun replayable game.
